2014 | First National BiGiwen Indigenous Adoptee Gathering
A year ago on Sept 20 & 21st 2014 we hosted our first National BiGiwen Indigenous Adoptee Gathering which took place on Algonquin territory otherwise known as Ottawa
With the help of many volunteers and some community members we were able to successfully provide an amazing memorable event for all those who attended.
Thank you to all who donated, volunteered their time, prepared food, helped in the kitchen, provided sound and entertainment came to help set up and clean up. Shout out to the Elders, firekeepers, Support team and facilitators for the guidance and knowledge.
