The overall intent of the rally is to gather and demand a resolve to colonial Indigenous child policies that continue to displace and erase our cultural and human potential of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples on Turtle Island otherwise known as Canada.
We Demand a National Focus
Today, Canada’s new government committed to nation-to-nation building. We demand a national focus and Call to Action to address colonial Indigenous
Child Welfare policies, current and past that ensure that Indigenous rights are protected and honored.
We are inviting all Indigenous nations across the world to join us in solidarity by having rallies in your territory if you cannot attend!
We also call on our non Indigenous and Indigenous community allies, political supporters, Indigenous leaders and unions to join us.
Come take up space, be seen, be united and learn, connect and build community in a safe and respectful way.
Ways you can help: Make Signs, Bring Signs, Bring a dish to the feast, volunteer to help cook, give rides, billet visitors from other territories, bring your drums,
